Rules

A 2v2 Shootout tournament in Escape from Tarkov: Arena, open to teams of two. Community-run, not official.

Who can enter

  • Teams of two. Solo players may register with "pair me" and are paired by the organisers before the draw.
  • Every player's Arena skill level must be 30 or below at check-in. A screenshot of the profile is posted in the team's Discord thread; a player above 30 makes the team ineligible.
  • Both players must be in the Discord server and check in during the 30 minutes before the start.

Format

  • Mode: 2v2 Shootout.
  • Double elimination. Best of 3 up to the semi-finals, best of 5 from the semi-finals on and in the grand final.
  • Map pool published a week ahead. Best of 3 veto: higher seed bans, lower seed bans, higher seed picks map 1, lower seed picks map 2, the last map is the decider.

Loadouts

The organisers cannot restrict custom presets in the lobby, so there is no preset rule: any preset the game offers you is allowed. Fairness comes from the skill cap above, not from gear.

Conduct

  • No stalling: a round with no engagement for 90 seconds after both teams have had time to move is replayed; a second stall by the same team loses the round.
  • No exploits, no macros, no teaming with the opponent. First offence loses the round, second is disqualification and forfeits any prize.
  • One reconnect grace period of 5 minutes per team per match. A second disconnect forfeits the round in progress.
  • 10 minutes late is a round forfeit, 20 minutes is a match forfeit.

Evidence

  • Every player records their own games with the FPS and ping overlay visible, and keeps the recordings until prizes are paid.
  • The winning team posts the end-of-match scoreboard in the match thread within 5 minutes.
  • Players who stream their matches use a 2 minute delay.

Admins

Two admins who are not competing run the bracket and settle disputes in the match threads. Their decision is final.
